Getting Off on the Right Foot, Literally (For the Right-Handed Golfer)

Many of us want to get off to a good start to the upcoming golf season. I have put together a list of 3 simple things you might consider adding to your checklist.

1. Revisit your set-up, including grip, posture, aim and alignment. These are all things everyone can master and are in our control.

2. Hold your follow-through. This is a great way to get some feedback. Are you hanging back on your non-target leg and foot? Or have you gotten over to your target side and able to pose and hold your finish? The second option is the obvious choice.

3. Be positive, yet realistic in your goals and expectations for the 2011 season. Just like anything else in life, if you have a road map or GPS, it is a lot easier to get to your destination.

In our lessons, we will go through and identify your goals for the year and continue to revisit and revise them.
